Finally, in Moalboal, Rowan figures he can navigate in a motorbike and survive.  On the second try, he has an actual motorcycle which does not stall.  Woohoo!

Our liquid lunch in Singapore

How nice it is to be in a place in the world where you can drink juices and have ice in your drinks!!!

At Tracy's fdown the street from our hotel, Shirl found a bunch of healthy juices.  She had Pomgrape, which decreases cardiac risk factors, aids in decreasing blood pressure, and maintains a healthy cholesterol level.  All of that.  And, in the middle, a darling little cup of macadamia nut latte, for Shirl, in a little plastic carrying thingy.  And Rowan had Guapple, which helps skin texture, relieves cough, and promotes weight loss.  Rowan was glad to have it, to work on his cold.

The beauty and pampering of Singapore

On October 14, Shirl and Rowan headed off to the pampering and beauty interventions of cosmopolitan Singapore.  Shirl found Cedric and Le Papillon on the web by searching for blonde hair and Singapore.  He has been doing hair since he was 15 and is now 38.  He is an amazing artist and knew just what to do for both Rowan and Shirl.
