Shirl and Bel, our new best friend

in Singapore.  We met her in Boracay, the Phillipines, where she was our next door neighbor at the Lazy Dog Bed and Breakfast.  She has been our great hostess for this, our second of three trips to Singapore.  And yes, that does say Merry Christmas right in back of us.  Orchard Road in Singapore lit their lights last night, and the season is full on.  Singapore, the land of shopping til you are dropping.

and do you love the diet A&W and the remains of a large Mint Explosion sort of ice cream sundae from the Cold Rock Ice Creamery on Shirl's side?  Singapore, also the land of clean water and safe food.  Yeah!
