before the DeckChair Cinema, where we saw "Kenny," a very sweet Australian mockumentarty about a manager in a port-a-john/port-a-loo maintenance company.  We recommend the film, which is both funny at turns and then poignant too.

Homestead roof

at Mataranka, the roof of an outbuilding of the replica of the Elsey homestead.  This was used in the filming of We of the Never Never, which we saw at the Mataranka Homestead Caravan Park Cafe.  Sweet movie of a woman who went with her husband to a station in the middle of the Northern Territory.  They had to sail to Darwin and then take horse and buggy some 200 or so kilometers south.  Eek.  What a story!
