OK, this is just what you need - Monaco!

So this afternoon we went on the bus to Monaco - lots to say about that, but only a 40-minute bus ride from right outside our apartment in Nice, and you are in the thick of tax haven for the rich.  So I just really wanted to look into what you could get these days of the recession in a corporate jet.  Lots!  Rats, no price was posted.  But the big problem with this is that you can never rest while traveling...  :)

In the never-ending quest for theaters, a real find - the Rialto, in Nice!

This theater shows almost all English-speaking movies with French sub-titles (nice for learning French!).  Several of these movies just had their world premieres at the Cannes Film Festival last week!  So we saw Sur lar Route (On the Road), based on Kerouac's book.  What a blast back to the early 50s in the US!  Here is the front of the Rialto:

and the beautifully restored seats inside.  Comfy!
