Rowan found a concert at the Harvard Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, at this villa in the hills above Florence.  It was The Italian Tour of Four Japanese Youths in 1585, presented y I Fagiolini.  Here is just one shot of the gardens at magic hour:

Ah, the second ferry, from Bastia to Livorno!

Where is the port?  You would think you would embark where it is pointing to, wouldn't you?  Well, you don't for the Corsica Ferries!  You go to a different place.  This is why you want to be early - way early! Notwithstanding Corsica Ferries telling us to go to the wrong place, and the fact that the ferry is going to Livorno, not Bastia, as the sign says, we made it.
