This shows it all - the new -- apartments, a "Tisak" (where I get my International Herald Tribune), advertising on top of the building, graffiti on the walls -- and the old castle at Trsat (dating back to at least the 13th century Romans), which guards the city of Rijeka.

Wowie! It is a coffee shop!

And not a caffe-bar, which in Croatia means good espresso, but absolutely no food!  This is Sergei and Alexander, who are from Russia and own a terrific little place that sells coffee beans. See the Galleries for more pictures of their handiwork.
